Indigenous Heritage and Stakeholder Engagement Capability.

Extensive experience reviewing and interpreting heritage assessments, Statements of Heritage Impact, Cultural Heritage Management Plans, and related statutory documentation to identify project constraints, compliance requirements, and approval obligations.
Strong understanding of Indigenous cultural heritage values, identified Aboriginal heritage items, and the legislative frameworks governing their protection and management.
Proven capability in managing heritage obligations, permit conditions, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance throughout project planning, procurement, design, and delivery phases.
Demonstrated experience engaging with Local Aboriginal Land Councils, Traditional Owners, Registered Aboriginal Parties, Indigenous stakeholders, and Elders to identify cultural heritage considerations and facilitate culturally appropriate project outcomes.
Skilled in coordinating consultation processes, incorporating Indigenous heritage requirements into project planning, and supporting positive relationships between government agencies, project teams, and Indigenous communities.
Commitment to respectful engagement, cultural awareness, and the protection of Indigenous cultural heritage in accordance with relevant Commonwealth, State, and local government requirements.
